Helen Berlie, BHS, Pharm.D., CDE, BCACP

Biography

Dr. Berlie practices in Ambulatory Care pharmacy with an expertise in diabetes. She runs a pharmacist-managed diabetes clinic at Health Centers Detroit Medical Group, where she provides comprehensive diabetes management for underserved pateints in Detroit. Dr. Berlie teaches an advanced diabetes elective course for third year pharmacy students and is also the Co-Coordinator for the Ambulatory Care Concentration. Dr. Berlie is one of the faculty advisors for PACE (Pharmacy Alliance for Community Engagement), a pharmacy student organization. Within the community, she oversees pharmacy student involvement with the Missions of Mercy free dental clinic and Camp Midicha, a camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes.
