Physician Assistant–Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery– Ascension Genesys Hospital, Grand Blanc

Chris Noth, PA-C, is currently working at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan as a Cardio-Thoracic Surgical Physician Assistant. He received his B.S. in Medical Technology from Michigan Technological University. He began working as a medical technologist at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, first in the Blood Bank and then the Bone Marrow Transplant lab. He went back to school at Wayne State University and obtained a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. He has been a certified Physician Assistant for over 22 years.

Noth's PA career started at Harper Hospital in Detroit, where he worked for 4 years assisting in all aspects of vascular surgery. He then moved to Grand Blanc and became employed at Ascension Genesys Hospital, where he has been assisting in all aspects of patient care in cardio-thoracic surgery ever since.

Noth is past president of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA), past chair of the MAPA CME committee and past editor of the MAPA quarterly newsletter. He has also served as past chairperson of the Michigan Joint Task Force for Health Professionals in Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery.
