James G. Stevenson

James G. Stevenson served as VP and Chief Clinical Officer with Omnicell, Inc, and is Emeritus Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. Previously he served as Director of Pharmacy/Chief Pharmacy Officer at West Virginia University Hospitals, the Detroit Medical Center, and the University of Michigan Health System. He also held various academic appointments at West Virginia University and Wayne State University, as well as Associate Dean for Clinical Sciences and Chair of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. Stevenson received his BS in Pharmacy from Wayne State University in 1980 and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University in 1982.

Stevenson has received the Pharmacist of the Year award from the Michigan Pharmacists Association, the ASHP Award for Distinguished Leadership in Health System Pharmacy Practice, and the John W. Webb Lecture Award. He served on the ASHP Board of Directors and was an officer in the Hospital Pharmacy Section of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), which also recognized him with the Distinguished Practice Award. Stevenson served two terms on the Michigan Board of Pharmacy.
