Sandra Taylor
Director of Pharmacy Services– Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak
Sandra Taylor received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from Wayne State University, 1981 and Master of Science degree in Finance from Walsh Business College in 1993.
She has served as preceptor for the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience rotation for Wayne State University School of Pharmacy for several years. She became a member of Lambda Kappa Sigma while receiving her education at Wayne State University. She is currently a board member on the Wayne State University Board of Advisors.
Sandra became a leader in pharmacy early in her career. Most recent as Administrator of Clinical Operations & Pharmacy Services at Beaumont Hospital Wayne and transitioning to her current role at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak, a 1100-bed major academic and referral center as Director of Pharmacy Services.
She has been awarded and recognized for her hard work and dedication to several professional organizations. In 2019 she was appointed by Governor Whitmer to serve a four-year term on the Michigan State Board of Pharmacy.
Some of her greatest achievements have been through her dedication to mentoring high school students, participating in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) student programs, coordinating and supporting community health fairs advocating for healthy lifestyles. In addition to precepting pharmacy students and her work in professional organizations to aid in advancing the pharmacy profession.
