Learning outcomes

LO1:

Students will cultivate effective communication and collaboration skills to use within and among disciplines, health services, and communities to transform patient care, improve health and add value to health systems. Direct Measurement: - This will be done by directly assessing a student’s work products or performance that demonstrate a level of learning in some of the required courses (e.g. Health Administration Organization). 

LO2:

Students will formulate strategic plans to achieve health system’s organizational goals within the market, which are aligned with health policy, governance, and regulatory / legal entities. Direct Measurement: This will be done by directly assessing a student’s work products or performance that demonstrate a level of learning in some of the required courses (e.g. Health Administration Finance/Budget). 

LO3:

Students will combine system and design thinking to deliver innovative and integrative health services. Direct Measurement: This will be done by directly assessing a student’s work products or performance that demonstrate a level of learning in some of the required courses (e.g. Health Administration Operational Management). 

LO4:

Students will model evidence-based leadership to ensure excellent health service outcomes Direct Measurement: This will be done by directly assessing a student’s work products or performance that demonstrate a level of learning in some of the required courses (e.g. Health Administration Operational Management). 

LO5:

Students will develop sound business principles and technology to guide day-to-day operational, strategic, and clinical decisions which ensure delivery of value-based health care. Direct Measurement: This will be done by directly assessing a student’s work products or performance that demonstrate a level of learning in some of the required courses (e.g. Health Administration Finance / Budgeting).

LO6:

Students will develop ethics and social responsibility at all levels of health services and management. Direct Measurement: This will be done by directly assessing a student’s work products or performance that demonstrate a level of learning in some of the required courses (e.g. Health Administration Quality & Safety Improvement).
