CAPS offers virtual drop-in chats with counselor through 'Let's Talk' series

Students in the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences have the opportunity to access virtual walk-in sessions specifically for pharmacy and health sciences students with University Counselor III Patricia Dixon through Let's Talk Zoom sessions, a program offered every Tuesday and Thursday by Wayne State's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

Let's Talk is a drop-in opportunity for students struggling with anxiety, stress or other issues who need to talk and are not sure they want regular counseling. Like all CAPS services, Let's Talk is confidential and not a part of a student's academic record.

During the winter 2021 semester, WSU Applebaum students can simply join a Zoom session Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5 p.m. to participate and benefit from Let's Talk. Students are seen individually on a first-come, first-served basis. There may be a wait in the virtual waiting room if the counselor is seeing another student. Please hang in there and a counselor will be with you as soon as possible.

For more information, contact CAPS at 313-577-3398 or Dixon at PatriciaDixon@wayne.edu. To learn more about Let's Talk and find links to additional sessions, visit the CAPS website.
