Dr. Amber Lanae Martirosov receives ASHP Best Practice Award at Midyear Clinical Meeting in Anaheim
On Dec. 3-7, faculty and students from the Wayne State University Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Doctor of Pharmacy program traveled to Anaheim, California, for the 2023 American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exposition.
More than 20,000 pharmacy professionals and students from around the globe gathered for professional development, networking opportunities, knowledge exchange and more.
WSU Applebaum enjoyed a strong showing, with poster presentations and an alumni reception attended by more than 90 people — the highest number since before the pandemic.
Congratulations to Associate Clinical Professor Amber Lanae Martirosov (pictured here in center) and her team at the Henry Ford Health Pulmonary Clinic — including Assistant Clinical Professor Hannah Ferrari, PharmD ’21 (right) and Henry Ford Health Pharmacy Manager Amanda Soyad, PharmD ’16 (left) — for receiving the ASHP Best Practice Award for “Improved Access and Outcomes for Patients with Interstitial Lung Disease in a Pharmacist-Led Medication Management Program.”
