Dr. Goldberg Receives IOG Fellowship
The Institute of Gerontology (IOG), Wayne State University (WSU), has selected faculty member Allon Goldberg, PhD, PT, for a research fellowship for the 2010-11 academic year. The Fellowship for Advanced Study in Aging and Lifespan is a $25,000 fellowship program, which was created by the IOG in conjunction with the WSU Vice President for Research, and provides Goldberg with an opportunity to extend his program of research and to be integrated into the IOG community for two consecutive semesters.
Goldberg is an assistant professor in the Physical Therapy program. His research interests are related to postural control and balance impairment in older adults and people with neurological diseases.
