Dr. Woster Notified of $1.3 Million NIH Grant
Patrick M. Woster, PhD, professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, has received notification that he is awarded a National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) RO1 grant of $1,309,740 for the funding period April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2015. He is the principal investigator on research entitled "Identification of LSD1 Inhibitors Targeting Epigenetic Regulation in Tumor Cells."
Collaborator with Woster is Robert Casero, Jr., PhD, of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University.
