During the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (EACPHS) annual Donors and Scholars Awards and Luncheon, 135 students received a total of $166,000 in tuition assistance. The event on May 16 brought together many of the donors or their representatives with the scholars and their families.

"I extend my sincere congratulations to all of the exceptional students who are recognized for their excellence in and out of the classroom," said Dean Lloyd Y. Young. "You should be proud of all that you have accomplished and what we know you will accomplish in the future."

In recognizing the generosity of donors, he said, "Thank you for choosing to support students in our pharmacy and health sciences programs. To all of you who chose to create a scholarship to 'pay it forward,' I extend my deepest thanks."
