Former Mayor Leads \"Conversation on Diversity\" on Oct. 3

The Diversity Advisory Board (DAB) of the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (EACPHS), Wayne State University (WSU), is hosting its Second Annual "Celebrating a History of Diversity." The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 3 at the College.

Leading our "Conversation on Diversity" will be the Honorable Dennis W. Archer, former Mayor of Detroit and chair of Dickinson Wright PLLC. During the awards program, several EACPHS alumni and friends will be honored for their contributions to the health sciences community. Capping the evening will be a strolling dinner.

"The evening promises to be educational, inspirational, and fun-filled," said Lisa Whitmore Davis, EACPHS development director. "This event supports the DAB endowment fund and honors those who have been instrumental in the pursuit of diversity. Our honorees serve as role models for future pharmacists and health science professionals whom the DAB endowed scholarship fund will assist."
