Grant Supports Ongoing MRSA Study

Cerexa, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, has awarded a $104,370 grant to researcher Michael J. Rybak, PharmD.

A professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Dr. Rybak received the grant for the study: "Evaluation of Ceftraroline (CPT) Activity versus Vancomycin (VAN) Against Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) Strains in an In-Vitro Simulated Endocardial Vegetation (SEV) Model."
