LKS hosting 5K to benefit Project HOPE
The Omicron Chapter of the Lambda Kappa Sigma Professional Pharmacy Fraternity is hosting a 5K walk/run at Nankin Mills Recreation Area at Hines Park on Saturday, April 8, to raise funds for Project HOPE. LKS provides lifelong opportunities for women and men in pharmacy through professional opportunities and personal growth.
Project HOPE is an international nonprofit organization working to improve healthcare across the world. Project HOPE provides healthcare during disasters and health crises, helps to combat infectious and noncommunicable diseases, works to minimize maternal, neonatal and child health disparities, and helps create impactful healthcare policies.
One hundred percent of proceeds from the 5K will be donated to Project HOPE. Please register for the event online.
For those unable to attend but would still like to generously donate, we are accepting donations through our chapter Venmo (@LKSWayneState) or alternate forms of payment.
Please contact LKS Chapter President Morgan Mrowca at morgan.mrowca@wayne.edu with any questions.
