Michael Rybak appointed to new ASHP Research Advisory Council

With research being at the forefront of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Foundation's mission, the ASHP Foundation Board appointed members of the Research Advisory Council to guide the expansion of its research program.
Wayne State University alumnus and Professor of Pharmacy Practice Michael Rybak '81, '05, was appointed as a member.
The council is composed of nationally recognized research and thought leaders, and is chaired by M. Lynn Crismon, dean of the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy.
The group was at ASHP headquarters in Bethesda, MD, in late January to develop recommendations for principles and priority areas for research that are at the forefront of the national healthcare agenda.
