PAS Students Win Challenge Bowl
Three Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) students are the winners of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants (MPA) Student Challenge Bowl. The team of second-year students Katy Dilland and Lindsay McCracken and first- year student Roger Mausolf brought home the glass trophy from the state conference, Oct. 14-17 in Grand Traverse.
"It has been several years since we have won (the Challenge Bowl), so we are particularly happy and proud of the success of both teams," said Stephanie Gilkey, PAS program director. The students hope to represent the MPA in the Challenge Bowl during the national conference of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, May 30-June 4 in Las Vegas.
A second PA team who also participated in this year's MPA Student Challenge Bowl were first year students Anna Borovich, Annika Kramer, and Jessica Stratton.
The trophy is exhibited in the college's display cabinet, next to the Pharmuseum, on the first floor of the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
