Pharmacy Professor Co-authored #1 Read Article in 2009 Medscape News

Michael Rybak, PharmD, MPH, associate dean for Research and professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, is the co-author on the #1 paper read by pharmacists in 2009, according to Medscape News. The paper provides recommendations for therapeutic drug monitoring of vancomycin according to the consensus guidelines from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Infectious Disease Society of America, and the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists.
