Pharmacy Program Earns Positive Accreditation Feedback

Upon completion of its three-day, on-site visit, the accreditation team from the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) commended the Pharmacy Program for its Self Study. It also made mention of several noteworthy areas in the program to Dean Lloyd Y. Young and Richard Slaughter, interim associate dean of Pharmacy, during the exit interview on Oct. 1.

Dean Young extends his congratulations to the Self Study Steering Committee and the faculty, staff and students of the Pharmacy Program for their outstanding work and support. The Self Study Steering Committee was led by Dr. Maureen Smythe, professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice.

The Departments of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Sciences are part of the four departments of the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Scineces, Wayne State University.
