Physical Therapy Program Celebrates 40 years

"Wine Down at the Applebaum" on May 9, 2008 celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Physical Therapy (PT) program of the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (EACPHS), Wayne State University (WSU). The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. at the college, 259 Mack Avenue, Detroit.

Prior to the reception at 5 p.m., Mable B. Sharp, (Class of '69) PT department chair from 1981 to 1991, will deliver the keynote address "Keeping in Touch." Current PT Director Susan Ann Talley (Class of '76) will provide an update on the current program and "Physical Therapy as a Doctoring Profession."

Alumni and friends of the PT program and the college are invited to share memories and renew friendships during the "Wine Down at the Applebaum" following the formal program.
