The Wayne State University women's indoor track and field squad had 14 All-Academic honorees - two from WSU Applebaum. In addition, the Warriors eclipsed the previous school record of nine All-Academic Excellence honorees set in 2018, with 11 for the 2019-20 academic year.

The two student-athletes from WSU Applebaum receiving GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5 were Doctor of Pharmacy student Jackie Feist (Beverly Hills, Mich. / Birmingham Groves) and Doctor of Physical Therapy student Teresa Diehl.

This is the third time that Feist and Diehl were named to the All-Academic Excellence team for the indoor track and field season.
