World Medical Relief to honor Pharmacy Prof. Smith
World Medical Relief, Detroit, is recognizing pharmacy faculty member Geralyn B. Smith with the Achievement Award for her collaboration with the organization's local prescription program.
Smith, director of IPPE Experiential Education Programs, Department of Pharmacy Practice, will receive the award at the World Medical Relief's 58th Anniversary gala on Nov. 5 at the Somerset Inn, Troy. This year's theme is "Opening Doors to World Health."
Past recipients of the award include U.S. Sen. Carl M. Levin and, Keith Cockrell, president of Bank of American Michigan.
