WSU opens search for Vice President for Health Affairs and Dean of School of Medicine; open discussion June 20
Wayne State President M. Roy Wilson and Provost Keith E. Whitfield are hosting a discussion about university's search for a Vice President for Health Affairs/Dean of the School of Medicine on Thursday, June 20, at 5:30 p.m. in the Blue Lecture Hall on the third floor of Scott Hall. Faculty, students and staff of the School of Medicine, the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the College of Nursing are encouraged to attend.
As Vice President for Health Affairs, the chosen candidate will report to the President and serve as a senior leader for Wayne State's health affairs-related initiatives, including responsibility for clinical affairs within the College of Nursing and the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The deans in the College of Nursing and the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences report to the Provost for academic affairs and to the Vice President for Health Affairs for clinical affairs.
