Dr. Linda Jaber invited presenter at AACE MENA in Dubai

Linda JaberProfessor of Pharmacy Practice Linda Jaber was an invited presenter at the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists Middle East and North Africa Conference from Nov. 17-19. The event took place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with 1,200 professionals in attendance.

Dr. Jaber delivered the keynote lecture “SGLT2 Inhibitors: Diabetes and Beyond” at the start of the conference. She also presented “Lifestyle Implementation in Diabetes in the Middle East” during an in-depth symposium the next day.

Led by a team of global experts, the premier AACE MENA event featured innovative educational experiences and highlighted patient-centered approaches on the critical aspects of obesity, dyslipidemia, NAFLD, diabetes management, pituitary tumors, thyroid cancer, bone metabolism and more.

Attendees aimed to optimize and personalize their patient outcomes by immersing themselves in the most relevant clinical approaches and technology advances. The education program hosted world-renowned endocrinology and metabolism experts and included state-of-the-art symposia, general sessions, abstract presentations, as well as in-person networking opportunities with colleagues and industry professionals.


The Doctor of Pharmacy program at Wayne State University is a four-year curriculum in the heart of Detroit. Approximately 100 students are enrolled in each year of the program. WSU Applebaum information meetings for prospective students take place at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. The application process or the Doctor of Pharmacy program begins each July.
